But it’s true! Picking mistakes are one of the most common errors in the warehouse and can come in a variety of shapes and sizes:

• The wrong item is picked instead of (or in addition to_ the correct one
• The wrong quantity of items is picked
• An item is not picked at all

Mispicks are a result of a small error made by the warehouse worker, whether it be from fatigue, poor lighting, or miscommunication. But however small the error may be, these add up very quickly if there’s no solution in place to prevent them.

Integrating an inventory management solution that interfaces with your ERP allows your workers to closely monitor stock levels in real time. It will not only save you a lot of trouble, but it will also improve inventory accuracy.
